La Plus Belle
Intelligence and elegance, it's a goal that keeps recurring in the designs of the eccentric French designer Philippe Starck. The same goes for this mirror, which appears to be 'ordinary' but has hidden talents.
The designer integrated soft light (2700K) into his design and the reason for this is expressed - as so often - in a way that is so typical of the man: 'Imagine the witch asking her mirror: mirror, tell me who is the most beautiful? Well, that doesn't work in the dark. In the dark there is nothing, not even those questions. Floss turned on the light around the mirror and Snow White appeared.'
That light consists of hundreds of densely packed LEDs hidden behind an optical silicone diffuser. The result is a nice, even glow that you can adjust to your liking with the dimmer integrated in the mirror.
The La Plus Belle frame is made of a special aluminium alloy and is available in four different finishes: brushed anodized gold/copper or polished anodized bronze/natural aluminum.
