WASTBERG
The Swedish company Wästberg is a company with a special story. Namely that of 'a man with a crystal-clear vision'. This vision consisted of the fact that the man had identified at a very early stage the systematic failure of lighting in offices and public buildings. The 'overexposure' was so monumental that no one opposed it or tackled the problem. In short, Wästberg wanted to reduce light and lighting to its essence.
In concrete terms: no more glare and constant static brightness in cold and sterile environments. And renewed respect for subtle shadows and contrasts by reducing the general lighting in the ceiling and in a sophisticated way bringing direct light to the places where it is desired: wall, desk, floor, etc.
